Keep it Dry

Raffia is a natural fiber and can lose its shape or get damaged when wet. Avoid exposure to rain or moisture.

Avoid Overloading

Don’t overfill the bag, as raffia can stretch or deform with too much weight.

Store Properly

Store your bag in a cool, dry place. Use a dust bag or pillowcase to protect it from dust and direct sunlight, which can cause fading.

Clean Gently

Use a soft, dry brush or cloth to remove dirt or dust. For deeper cleaning, a slightly damp cloth (not wet) can be used, but never soak the bag.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals

Don’t use bleach or strong cleaners, as they can damage the fibers and color.

Reshape If Needed

If your bag loses its shape, gently stuff it with tissue paper or soft fabric to restore it while storing.

Handle with Care

Raffia is delicate, so avoid rubbing it against rough surfaces or pulling on the fibers.
